Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an awareness of graphic and information design and associated technology.
• Assist in applying Agile working principles by taking an iterative approach to design.
• Support communication between technical and non-technical teams by translating design concepts into accessible language.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to team discussions and feedback loops.
• Engage with trends in graphic and information design and apply best practices in digital and print media.
• Apply evidence-based design approaches to create user‑centred solutions.
• Contribute to strategic thinking by understanding the broader context of design work.
• Use appropriate tools and software to create effective design outputs.
• Develop a user focus, engaging with stakeholders to collect user needs evidence and apply research insights into design solutions.
  Comfortable with learning and using complex software packages.
• Awareness of Agile methodology and iterative design processes.

Desirable Criteria

• A qualification in Graphic Design, Information Design, or a related field would be useful, although training, support and mentoring will be provided.
