A leading financial services firm is seeking an Associate in Global Government Relations to engage with policymakers across EMEA. Responsibilities

  • Monitor EU and UK political, policy, and regulatory developments impacting the business.
  • Provide senior leadership with timely information about emerging political issues.
  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies on policy proposals.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of stakeholders for advocacy.
  • Represent the firm at meetings with government officials.
  • Contribute to trade associations and liaise with counterparts.
  • Prepare presentations and briefings for senior management.

As an Associate within Global Government Relations, you will help in advancing our business interests and supporting communities where we operate. This is an opportunity to influence policy, collaborate with senior leaders, and represent the firm both internally and externally. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to making a positive impact through strategic advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor EU and UK political, policy, and regulatory developments that impact the business
  • Provide senior leadership and lines of business with timely and concise information about emerging political, policy, and regulatory issues, and help develop the firm’s position
  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies on policy, legislative, and regulatory proposals in line with the firm’s interests
  • Build and maintain a strong internal and external network of stakeholders to gather intelligence and assist in developing advocacy strategies
  • Represent the firm at meetings with government officials and other external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the work of trade associations and liaise with counterparts at other firms to determine agreed positions and leverage collective resources for advocacy
  • Prepare presentations and internal briefings for senior management, lines of business, and management committees
