Associate Frontend Software Developer – Peterborough (Hybrid, UK)

Location: Peterborough, UK – Hybrid working model.

We’re looking for someone with 1–3 years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally in a commercial or production environment. The successful candidate will join our existing cross-functional Agile development team, working on our suite of products including our cloud platform. They will develop solutions to a good standard, understand and learn industry best practices within development teams and be involved with the evolving company culture and encourage others to do the same. This role offers strong mentorship, regular feedback, and opportunities to grow into more senior positions over time.

Skills, Experience, And Attributes
  • Experience with React
  • Experience with TypeScript in a production environment
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Developing solutions according to designs and acceptance criteria agreed during design discussions and workshops
  • Isn’t afraid to admit failure and learn from it
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Software development (coding, testing, design, peer reviews, documentation etc) – 80%
  • Sprint activities (planning, stand ups, retrospectives, backlog reviews etc) – 15%
