Progeny is hiring multiple Associate Financial Planners across Cambridge and other UK cities. The Progeny Planner Academy provides a structured 12‑month programme with mentors for practical learning and progression.

You will deliver financial plans, provide client service, develop business opportunities and complete CPD to meet regulatory requirements in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Minimum CII R01 and R05 exams completed.
• Professional conduct: integrity, ethics and professionalism.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Deliver financial plans and advice to clients in line with regulatory standards.
• Provide high-level client service and ensure reviews are completed as per service proposition.
• Continue developing client-facing skills and identify opportunities to generate new business.
• Complete CPD to meet regulatory and personal development requirements.
• Work towards KPIs related to quality, compliance standards and advice revenue.

The opportunityAs part of our continued growth, we are hiring multiple Associate Financial Planners across Cambridge, Worthing, London, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Edinburgh. The Progeny Planner Academy provides a structured career path for talented individuals looking to build a career as a Financial Planner. Associate Financial Planners are supported and developed over a 12-month programme, gaining the knowledge, skills and commercial acumen required for the role. The programme is delivered by experts through a blend of in-person workshops, webinars and digital learning designed to build confidence, capability and competence. Associates are assigned a mentor from day one, with dedicated time for practical learning alongside colleagues and trainers to embed key skills. Each pathway is structured yet personalised to maximise the potential and individual strengths of every Academy member throughout their development journey. What you will be doing

• Financial Planning & Advice: Deliver financial plans and advice to clients in line with Progeny's regulatory standards and requirements.
• Client Service: Provide a high level of service and ensure client reviews are completed in line with the service proposition.
• Business Development: Continue developing client-facing skills and identify opportunities to generate new business and support growth.
• Compliance & Professional Standards: Complete Continuous Professional Development to meet regulatory and personal development requirements.
• Performance & KPIs: Work towards agreed KPIs relating to quality, compliance standards and advice revenue expectations.
• Knowledge & Ethics: Develop appropriate technical expertise, market awareness and professional standards.

About You

• Qualifications: Minimum CII R01 and R05 exams passed prior to joining the Progeny Planner Academy.
• Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism at all times, including integrity, ethical conduct, respect for others and a professional approach to work and colleagues.
• Skills & Qualities: Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and operate within established guidelines.
• Personal Development: Demonstrate drive, commitment and a proactive approach to self-development.
