Vacancy Title Associate Facade Engineer (Structures)

Overview

Our client is seeking a multi-faceted Facade Engineer with a strong structural background who can take ownership of projects from concept to delivery. This role requires someone who is not only structurally competent but also commercially and client-focused, capable of representing our client’s business confidently in meetings and on-site. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, managing priorities and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce engineering analysis and structural engineering calculations on projects.
• Deliver and review structural and facade design calculations.
• Create programs and spreadsheets for automated calculation.
• Create standard calculations within TEDDS.
• Lead and project manage facade engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Attend and chair meetings with clients, architects, contractors, and design teams.
• Review, adapt, and coordinate drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits to assess installation quality and resolve technical challenges.
• Contribute to business development, identifying opportunities and supporting proposal preparation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure design integration and performance compliance.

• Experienced in facade engineering with a solid understanding of structural principles.
• Comfortable taking the lead role in client and internal meetings.
• Able to balance technical, managerial, and commercial responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
