Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland are recruiting an Associate Estimator in the Energy Networks division in Scotland. The role focuses on the preconstruction phase of large civil projects, supporting robust cost estimates and successful tender submissions.

You will work with experienced estimators and project teams, gaining exposure to complex schemes, supply chain engagement, and technical specifications at our Kilsyth head office.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in civil engineering or NVQ equivalent.
• Civil engineering site experience.
• Familiarity with estimating and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preconstruction cost estimation and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with the bid team and Pre-Construction team.
• Gather pricing from materials and subcontract packages.
• Prepare and issue supply chain enquiries.
• Maintain awareness of latest materials, equipment, and techniques.
