Job Opportunity: Associate / Senior Associate Electrical Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate to join a leading MEP team in Reading, Theale. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in electrical building services design, who is ready to lead projects and teams while delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead MEP engineering teams on a variety of projects, including design, supervision, and mentoring.
  • Manage project risks, ensuring designs meet standards and legislative requirements.
  • Oversee the creation of reports, drawings, and specifications across various RIBA design stages.
  • Use CAD and BIM (Revit) software for designing building systems.
  • Liaise with other professionals like architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Foster client relationships and contribute to business development.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Extensive experience in electrical building services design (consultant or contractor background).
  • Relevant degree (HNC/HND) and progress toward IEng or CEng status.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail, with a strong client-focused approach.
