Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an Associate EIA Director to join the Environmental Planning team. Location is Southampton or Wimborne with hybrid working.

You will lead Environmental Impact Assessments and manage complex development projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use and infrastructure sectors. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to winning new work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
• Proven ability to manage complex development projects across sectors (residential, commercial, mixed-use, infra).
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead EIAs for major projects and coordinate multidisciplinary input.
• Build and maintain client relationships to support project wins and repeat work.
• Mentor and develop junior team members within the Environmental Planning group.
