Associate Director, Strategy and Operations

The Associate Director Strategy & Ops is a key strategic partner to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) focused on enabling commercial strategy through transformation planning, operating cadence, and change execution. This role translates strategic priorities into actionable programs supporting the CCO in aligning sales strategy, performance management, and cross‑functional execution. The Associate Director ensures on‑time strategy execution, enhanced sales readiness and measurable transformation impact while managing the Sales Trainer and fostering a high‑performing, scalable commercial organization.

Responsibilities
Strategic Program Delivery
  • Support the development, coordination and execution of commercial strategy aligned to business goals.
  • Drive transformation planning and maintain operating cadence to deliver on strategic priorities.
Commercial Enablement
  • Lead and evolve enablement programs, overseeing the Sales Trainer to deliver onboarding, continuous learning and skill development initiatives aligned with go‑to‑market priorities.
  • Enhance sales readiness and capability through targeted enablement and change management initiatives.
Transformation and Change Management
  • Partner with commercial and functional leaders to lead cross‑regional change initiatives ensuring adoption and sustained impact.
  • Champion organizational agility and support the business through periods of transformation and growth.
Go‑To‑Market Readiness
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Sales leaders to ensure the field is prepared to execute campaigns, launch new offerings, and adopt new tools and methodologies.
  • Support the CCO in aligning go‑to‑market strategy with operational execution.
Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build communication strategies that ensure alignment, transparency and engagement around key commercial initiatives.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to drive buy‑in and support for transformation programs.
Insight & Performance Support

  • Partner with analytics and sales leadership teams to identify performance opportunities and support commercial decision‑making with actionable insights.
  • Generate insights to inform problem‑solving and continuous improvement across the commercial organization.
Sales Enablement Oversight
  • Manage and mentor the Sales Trainer; ensure delivery of onboarding learning pathways and readiness initiatives to support sales performance.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product and Commercial Ops to align go‑to‑market initiatives and resources.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional execution to ensure timely delivery of strategic projects and initiatives.
Analytics & Insights
  • Develop executive‑level dashboards and reporting to track commercial KPIs, campaign performance and growth initiatives.
Transformation Projects
  • Lead special projects related to organizational design, M&A integration and go‑to‑market optimization.
Success Measures
  • Delivery of aligned strategy and operating rhythm across the sales organization.
  • Adoption and business impact of sales enablement programs and tools.
  • Improvement in sales performance metrics and operational efficiency.
  • Timely and effective execution of key commercial initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Positive feedback from CCO, Sales Leadership and functional partners.
  • Enhanced sales readiness, improved operating cadence and measurable transformation impact.
Experience Required
  • Proven success in a commercial strategy or business operations role supporting executive leadership.
  • Experience managing or supporting a high‑performing sales team in a global or regional capacity.
  • Familiarity with change management and enablement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building performance reports and business cases.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others, preferably in a sales enablement or training function.
  • Demonstrated ability to support transformation planning and drive cross‑functional execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Strategy or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity SaaS or other high‑growth B2B environments.
  • Salesforce and analytics tools proficiency (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Strong project management capabilities and communication skills.
