We specialise in all aspects of river engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry‑leading river engineering and flood defence solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client‑side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose

• Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high‑quality levels.
• Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Set quality assurance standards in design.
• Grow, develop and manage engineering capability within the practice.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Comprehensive knowledge in design such as flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility, and construction logistics.
• Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices.
• Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally focused solutions using nature‑based strategies.
