Key Responsibilities
- Overall project planning and coordination as the Risk Programs Manager (PM).
- Day‑to‑day project management and primary client communication.
- Establish status meetings with internal SS&C Algorithmics teams, the client project manager and other stakeholders.
- Identify project deviations proactively and take immediate corrective actions; escalating unresolved issues to senior management.
- Provide daily administrative direction and support to the project team to ensure adherence to standards, milestone targets and on‑time delivery.
- Track project performance, including cost vs. budget, and report overall health via status reports and project plans.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all DACH clients, maintaining communication even when no active projects are running, and supporting potential pre‑sales activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact during the pre‑sales phase.
- Participate in client discovery sessions, gather high‑level requirements and understand business challenges.
- Contribute to proposals, RFP responses and Statements of Work.
- Present solutions and delivery approaches to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align solutions with client expectations and organisational capabilities.
- Identify risks, delivery challenges or scope limitations early in the sales process.
- Support strategic account planning and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and German.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent or large‑scale projects.
- Experience leading high‑risk, complex initiatives.
- Ability to track project financials.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, including wealth management, brokerage or retirement.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, business case creation, project initiation and requirement gathering.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
- Strong client‑management skills; build and maintain trusted relationships even when no active projects.
- Strong stakeholder management across sales, delivery and product functions.
- High professionalism, confidence and strategic thinking in pre‑sales interactions.
- Proven experience in proposals, pitches or strategic solutioning for clients.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles in the financial services industry is a plus.
- 5 years of end‑to‑end project management experience.
- 3 years of project‑management experience in the financial industry.
