Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 9+ years in electrical engineering design with significant HV switchyard/substation exposure up to 765kV.
• Strong understanding of electrical, civil, and structural aspects of substation design and relevant standards (IEC/IEEE/ANSI).
• Proven leadership of large design teams and multi‑million‑pound projects.
• Commercial acumen with budgeting, risk assessment, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for complex engineering projects and client satisfaction.
• Define and deliver business plans, including revenue and growth targets.
• Lead multiple projects from concept to detailed design.
• Act as senior technical authority for high‑voltage design up to 765kV.
• Build strong client relationships and drive repeat business.
