A leading healthcare charity seeking an Associate Director of Nursing to provide leadership in quality assurance and patient safety. The role involves setting standards in clinical governance, infection prevention, and health and safety. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in senior nursing roles and a strong understanding of end-of-life care across the UK. This position offers a competitive salary of around £85,500 annually and a permanent, full-time contract with hybrid working options.
The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse to join us as we are recruit for the position of Associate Director of Nursing, Quality and Safety. The successful candidate will join a well-established and supportive team, providing leadership in quality assurance, patient safety and learning for continuous improvement across all services to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, compassionately, and with strong leadership. You’ll set standards and lead the workstreams for patient safety, clinical governance, infection prevention & control (IPC), and Health & Safety (H&S), driving measurable improvements for patients, carers, and staff.
