Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an Associate Director to join the Industrial & Logistics team in London Real Estate. Lead cost management on high-profile projects, from feasibility through post-contract, in a dynamic client-focused environment.

You will manage procurement, cost reporting, value engineering, and final accounts while interfacing with clients and stakeholders. MRICS and QS degree required; experience with high-value projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Industrial & Logistics sector including warehouses, distribution, manufacturing.
• Ability to lead clients through project stages from feasibility to completion.
• Experience with Two-Stage tendering and collaborative procurement routes.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts.
• Client-facing experience in Associate Cost Manager roles.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and cost plan, present final cost plans.
• Manage tendering and procurement processes, create tender lists and reports.
• Control post-contract cost variances and change processes.
• Ensure timely, accurate cost reporting and commercial control.
• Provide input into value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Interface with clients, developers and contractors across project stages.
• Lead junior cost management staff when appropriate.
