Your new role

In your new role as an Associate Director in the Distribution Team at FIS SCF (formerly Demica) you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining relationships with current and prospective investors who can support working capital financing transactions (receivables and payables) on the FIS SCF (formerly Demica) platform. You will speak to funders across the world about their appetite to invest and work with colleagues to support the origination of new financings, as well as leading aspects of the transaction around solicitation of interest from lenders and having involvement up to execution.

The Distribution Team currently has strong funder relationships with over 55 platform lenders, and a network of over 250 lenders. As the range and volume of transactions the team works on continues to grow, we are seeking an additional team member who will be involved in all aspects of activities within Distribution. This will include frequent contact with a wide range of funders including some of the world’s largest banks and non-bank investors.

What you'll do:
  • Manage the Distribution process for selected transactions with a high level of autonomy at a fast pace, involving determining potential lenders, conducting lender outreach to solicit proposals and recording progress in Salesforce/updating management as required
  • Proactively develop Demica’s lender relationships, leading calls with selected current and prospective lenders
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of lenders in the market and their appetite for transactions, to be recorded in internal database and shared internally as relevant
  • Support the Structuring and Origination teams with clear oral and written opinions where required on Distribution matters, joining Origination calls where required
  • Where required, prepare and/or deliver high quality presentation documents for clients and for internal stakeholders
  • Work within agreed expenditure guidelines and budget, avoiding unnecessary cost
  • Work to enhance a compliance culture
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through collaboration and teamwork
  • Maximise client satisfaction through: timely delivery of tasks in respect of clients and internal stakeholders & high quality advice
Who you are:
  • As a guide, an Associate Director at FIS SCF typically has 8+ years professional experience, however we are keen to hear from anyone with in excess of 5 years experience in banking or fintech environment in Sales or Risk Distribution with receivables finance experience
  • Experience presenting to and interacting with corporate clients and/or lenders in a sales and risk approval processes
  • Understanding of the working capital/receivables finance market and lender types
  • Understanding of credit risk and impact on pricing
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (in particular PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to prioritise efforts and tasks, diagnose problems and take ownership to ensure prompt delivery
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage different stakeholders and audiences
  • Effective interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Capability to work independently and multi-task to meet tight deadlines. Easily adaptable to short notice changes in a fast moving environment
  • Interested in working with new technological tools
In addition to the above, you will be a great fit for the role if you have the below:
  • Understanding of / experience in receivables securitisation transactions
  • Existing relationships with relevant banks and non-bank lenders within working capital finance
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM system
  • A second language is a plus
