As Associate Director / Director, eFX Trading, you will be directly responsible for the risk management of electronic FX flows across ANZ Global Markets, with a focus on delivering measurable trading outcomes. Your role centres on active risk and flow management, including correlated risk exposures and the deployment of e-hedging models that optimise execution and reduce portfolio VaR. You will be expected to generate consistent trading PNL through the strategic use of eFX engines, targeting improvements in spread capture, hit ratios, and flow velocity.
You will contribute to the expansion of the global eFX franchise by increasing traded volumes and enhancing monetisation efficiency, with performance tracked against flow growth targets and risk-adjusted returns. Your trading decisions will be supported by real‑time analytics and systematic feedback loops, enabling dynamic adjustments to pricing and hedging strategies.
A key part of your remit involves working closely with Systematic Quants to customise pricing and distribution engines for high‑value client segments. You will be accountable for driving latency improvements, quote acceptance rates, and pricing precision, with direct impact on client flow share and retention.
This is a front‑office trading role with clear accountability for market performance, engine profitability, and risk metrics. Success will be measured through trading KPIs including VaR utilisation, PNL attribution, engine hit ratios, and client flow monetisation.
