Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a Tax Associate Director to join a growing tax team and help drive the service to a diverse client base. The role emphasizes premium corporate tax compliance, advisory work, and client relationship management.

You will work closely with partners and directors, lead portfolio delivery, and contribute to business development while coaching junior members of the team. A strong technical background and client-facing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• ACA or equivalent qualification.
• CTA preferred or proven tax advisory experience.
• Excellent corporate tax compliance experience and ability to prepare tax computations.
• Strong corporate tax knowledge and advisory capability for a range of clients.
• Proven client handling skills and experience managing a busy portfolio.
• Experience in business development and converting relationships into fee paying work.

Responsibilities

• Own a client portfolio within the tax team, delivering premium corporate tax compliance services.
• Lead the delivery of advisory work and provide accurate tax advice on issues like international expansion, transfer pricing, R&D relief, and acquisitions.
• Build and maintain an external network of peers and client contacts to grow the business.
• Collaborate with partners and directors to market services and drive revenue for the region.
• Coach and guide junior team members and contribute to their development.
• Liaise with other departments to deliver high-quality services and identify tax risks and opportunities.
