Job summary

Shoreditch, London-based civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Director to lead a team and drive client relationships. The role offers senior leadership responsibility, oversight of technical delivery, and a clear pathway to Director and Partner-level positions.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in drainage, highways and SuDS, with Chartered status being highly advantageous and a track record of growing a civil engineering practice and

Qualifications

Senior civil engineer with proven delivery of complex projects.
Strong experience in drainage, highways and SuDS.
Ability to lead client relationships and win work.
Chartered status is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a small team of engineers.
Oversee delivery of civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
Provide technical leadership across drainage, highways, SuDS and external works.
Act as key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.
Prepare fee proposals, quotations and scopes of work.
Support leadership with growth of the civil engineering team.
Mentor junior and senior engineers.
Adopt a commercially minded approach to project delivery.
