Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to help shape critical infrastructure projects across highways, rail, energy and aviation. The role sits within the Bridges & Structures team, driving technical excellence and innovative design approaches across UK and international programmes.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, influence project direction and deliver solutions that enhance resilience, decarbonisation and long-term value for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards chartership.
• Experience delivering structural engineering projects within infrastructure, transport, energy or utilities.
• Strong technical engineering and problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading projects, technical packages or engineering teams.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

About The Opportunity

At Jacobs, you'll help shape some of the UK's most important infrastructure projects while influencing how structural engineering is delivered in the future. As part of our Bridges & Structures team, you'll apply your technical expertise to solve complex challenges across highways, rail, energy, aviation and major infrastructure programmes, helping clients improve the performance, resilience and sustainability of their assets.

Here's what you'll need

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or working towards chartership with a clear pathway to achieving it.
• Experience delivering structural engineering projects within infrastructure, transportation, energy, utilities, buildings or related sectors.
• Strong technical engineering and problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading projects, technical packages or engineering teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
