Job description

Head of Asset Management - Client Side - £excellent basic + Bonus & benefits

We're working with a well‑established, highly successful specialist lender who are looking to appoint a Head of Asset Management as follows:

• Office based in Hertfordshire, working Mon‑Fri 9am to 5.30pm (except for when on site/undertaking valuations/inspections etc.)
• MRICS qualified, ideally with VRS (though this is not essential)
• Heading up the entire Asset Management Team, providing both staff management and technical advice as required
• Overseeing the entire process and framework within which disposed assets in possession or receivership realise maximum value
• Provide specialist property advice on complex assets.
• Liaison with the internal Valuation Team in relation to trends affecting business risk/appetite
• Provide training to other departments to help up‑skill staff to make sensible lending decisions.
• Ensure the Asset Team has sufficient resources / staff to scale up when the business requires it
• Proven track record (at a senior level) in Asset Management, Valuation and/or Receivership
• Hold a full driving licence and have full access to a vehicle.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of the rules and regulations imposed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The suitable Head of Asset Management will come from a stable career background (Asset Management, Valuation, LPA receivership or a combination of all three), have excellent communication skills, sound commercial awareness and good all‑round IT proficiency.

Remuneration is highly competitive and will include an excellent basic salary, bonus/profit share and extensive benefits package.
