A global consulting firm is seeking an experienced Anaplan Associate Director to lead the development of their financial planning system. This hybrid role involves mentoring a team, overseeing Anaplan model governance, and driving innovation in financial reporting. Lead innovation in connected planning, driving accuracy and insight across Capco’s global financial landscape.
As an Anaplan Associate Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Capco’s financial planning and reporting ecosystem. You’ll lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of Anaplan as the firm’s core financial planning tool, ensuring it delivers accuracy, scalability, and actionable insights across global operations. This leadership role combines technical excellence, financial acumen, and stakeholder management to drive Capco’s data‑driven decision‑making agenda.
Lead and mentor a global team of Anaplan professionals, ensuring delivery excellence, capability growth, and high‑quality output.
Oversee the design, build, and governance of scalable Anaplan models for forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
Act as the strategic liaison between Finance, Operations, and Technology, translating business needs into robust connected‑planning solutions.
Drive innovation through process automation, data integration, and enterprise‑wide planning alignment.
Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and governance across all Anaplan environments.
Multiple years experience in the use of Financial Systems/Tools used in forecasting with at least 2 years experience in Anaplan (implementation, day‑to‑day use/design, build, and delivery).
Demonstratable team lead experience and desire to grow and develop existing team.
Strong financial modelling background with advanced Excel and proven ability to translate financial models into scalable Anaplan solutions.
In‑depth understanding of ERP/CRM integrations and enterprise data management principles.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working across global teams and time zones.
Experience leading large‑scale Anaplan transformation or migration initiatives.
Background in financial consulting, systems implementation, or technology‑enabled finance change.
Familiarity with EPM tools such as SAP, Peoplesoft, TM1, or Power BI.
Proven success managing projects in Agile environments.
A passion for analytics and innovation in financial planning and reporting.
Deliver high‑impact technology and financial planning solutions for a global consulting organisation.
