FirstPort is seeking an Associate Director to lead a portfolio of properties in Central London, directing a team of property managers to deliver exceptional service to residents and clients. You will drive KPI performance, coach staff, and shape strategies to elevate industry standards within a dynamic, field-based role.

The position emphasizes leadership, risk management, health & safety compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality service delivery across the UK

Qualifications

• Property management professional with experience managing a multi-property portfolio.
• Inspirational leader with experience managing teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Confident and articulate communicator capable of building relationships with diverse customers and clients.
• Resolution-focused with a creative approach to problem-solving and effective issue resolution.
• Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulations, building safety, and Leasehold management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional meetings to set and review portfolio priorities and drive process improvements.
• Drive service excellence and promote a culture of high performance across the team.
• Lead business development efforts, including meetings, presentations, and bids for growth and profitability.
• Oversee Property Manager action plans, manage risks and implement corrective actions for at-risk schemes.
• Conduct site audits and monitor KPIs to ensure standards across the portfolio are met.

Location: Field based (in/around Central London)

Salary: Competitive Salary, plus car allowance & benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Your Role, Your Impact

As an Associate Director, you will manage a dynamic portfolio, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Lead and inspire a team of property managers, fostering their growth through regular performance reviews, feedback, and coaching. Drive success by ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved, while creating a supportive and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional meetings to set and review portfolio priorities, focusing on process improvements.
• Drive service innovation and promote a culture of service excellence across the team.
• Lead business development efforts, including sales meetings, presentations, and bids for growth and profitability.
• Oversee Property Manager action plans, managing risks and implementing corrective actions for at-risk schemes.
• Conduct regular site audits and monitor KPIs to ensure standards are met across the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures, addressing any non-compliance issues.
• Manage escalated complaints, providing resolutions and handling major legal matters with support from the legal team.
• Proactively manage contractors and consultants to ensure efficient project completion within scope and specification.
