Job summary

A leading technology firm in Bristol is seeking a seasoned professional for a technical role in solutions development. Responsibilities include leading sales motions, RFI/RPF processes, and creating demonstrations within multiple lab environments. Job description

Responsibilities

Your Role & Responsibilities leading proactive and supporting reactive sales motions including active participation in customer and advisor conversations, bid submissions, solution workshops and bid defense sessions. You will be responsible for the technical solution, sizing and implementation/operations approaches as part of the RFI or RPF response process. Lead face‑to‑face conversations with existing and potential customers, Microsoft teams and internal business and technology leaders. Leading PoC, landscape assessment and early‑stage technology implementation projects. Creating and maintaining full‑stack solutions demonstrations within our multiple lab environments. Leading reviews and technical evaluations of solution architectures ensuring proposed solutions are scalable, robust and secure. Supporting Delivery teams in the resolution, root‑cause identification and identification of preventative and corrective measures for exceptional critical, customer‑impacting issues. Acting as a trusted advisor, mentor and guru to customers and internal teams. You will support our skilling and thought‑leadership programs. Running workshops creating, publishing and presenting white papers, technical documents, best‑practice and points of view. A strong Program Management approach is necessary to track, report and ensure timely completion of all activities and ensure suitable reporting and dashboards are maintained to track and report individual and team progress and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology / Engineering
• 12–15 years of experience in a technical role with a GSI
• Detailed understanding of Microsoft Cloud, especially Azure, and how components integrate
• Hands‑on experience creating winning solutions across:
  • Azure Data/AI stack – Microsoft Fabric, Foundry, Azure OpenAI stack
  • Microsoft application modernization stack – cloud‑native architectures, agent and agentic solutions and AI UI
• Experience in similar technical architecture roles focused on the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, ideally within a Systems Integrator of similar scale and scope to HCLTech
• Relevant Microsoft and industry certifications
