Job summary

Grosvenor Dental Surgery in Colwyn Bay is seeking an Associate Dentist to join our busy mixed NHS and Private practice. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on delivering high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will conduct exams, develop personalised treatment plans, perform restorations, extractions, root canals and cosmetic procedures, and maintain accurate records. Collaboration with hygienists and staff and a commitment to CPD are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Proven experience in general dentistry with an understanding of anatomy.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dental diagnostics.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
• Commitment to CPD and maintaining high standards of care.
• GDC registration with active performer number and valid DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical skills and imaging tools including OPG machine.
• Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform restorations, extractions, root canals and cosmetic procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Adhere to health, safety and infection control protocols.
