DentEuropa Implant & Orthodontic & Perio Centre in Hounslow, West London, is seeking a GDC-registered Private Associate Dentist to join our multidisciplinary practice. The role suits a clinician with an interest in endodontic and restorative/prosthodontic treatments, with NHS work available alongside private caseload for a combined position.

Qualifications

• Be fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Hold an active NHS Performer Number if applying for the combined NHS/private position.
• Have appropriate professional indemnity.
• Have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant clinical experience.
• Postgraduate education or further experience in endodontics/restorative or prosthodontics is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform root canal treatments within your competence.
• Place crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays.
• Fabricate and fit full and partial dentures.
• Provide restorative and prosthodontic treatment planning.
• Deliver general NHS dentistry where applicable.
• Maintain appropriate follow-up care and patient records.
• Collaborate with implant, orthodontic and periodontal clinicians.

DentEuropa Implant & Orthodontic & Perio Centre is seeking an experienced, GDC-registered Private Associate Dentist to join our established multidisciplinary practice in Hounslow, West London.

The position would particularly suit a clinician with an interest in providing high-quality endodontic and restorative/prosthodontic treatments.

We also welcome applications from dentists holding an active NHS Performer Number who wish to undertake NHS work alongside their private caseload.

Applicants may therefore apply for either:

• A Private Associate Dentist position
• A combined NHS and private position

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Part-time position – 2 days per week
• Up to 1,000 UDAs available per annum for the combined NHS and private position
• Estimated annual gross earnings of £50,000–£70,000
• No deductions for laboratory fees or dental material costs; these are fully covered by the practice
• 30–35% share of private treatment income
• Established patient base and well-managed appointment book
• Strong demand for endodontic and restorative treatments

CLINICAL SCOPE

Depending on the position, the successful candidate will undertake:

• Root canal treatments within their clinical competence
• Crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays
• Full and partial dentures
• Restorative and prosthodontic treatment planning
• General NHS dentistry, where applicable
• Appropriate maintenance and follow-up care
• Multidisciplinary case collaboration with our implant, orthodontic and periodontal clinicians

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Applicants should:

• Be fully registered with the General Dental Council
• Hold an active NHS Performer Number if applying for the combined NHS and private position
• Have appropriate professional indemnity
• Have a minimum of 1 years’ relevant clinical experience
• Have experience in, or demonstrate a genuine willingness to further develop their skills in, endodontic and fixed and removable prosthodontic treatments
• Demonstrate high standards of patient care, record-keeping and communication
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team

Relevant postgraduate education or additional experience in endodontics, restorative dentistry or prosthodontics would be advantageous but is not essential.
