Howardian Dental Practice in Sheriff Hutton, near York, is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic self-employed Associate Dentist to join a small, patient-focused team. You will work with one principal dentist and an established associate, with plans to grow the list as demand increases.

Initially one day a week, increasing up to five days as patient numbers rise. We offer clinical freedom, supportive mentorship, and generous remuneration of 50% of surgery fees minus lab and overheads.

Qualifications

• GDC registration is required for practice in the UK.
• Degree certificate is required for registration.
• IRMER, CPR/AED certificates and DBS within 12 months are expected.

Job description

We require an enthusiastic self employed Associate Dentist with good interpersonal skills to join our expanding practice.

Howardian Dental Practice is a busy independent, FULLY PRIVATE modern practice on the outskirts of York in Sheriff Hutton.

We are a friendly, professional team of one principal dentist and one long standing associate who pride ourselves on our outstanding patient care.

The practice has an established patient base, and we are currently taking on further new patients to grow the list for the successful applicant.

Initially we are offering one day a week, but as the patient list expands, up to five days a week may be available.

The start date is available from Mid October 26 for the right candidate.

Presently, we refer implants and orthodontic treatments to a specialist practice, but for the right candidate we would be prepared to invest in the necessary scanners and equipment as this is an area where there is opportunity for real growth.

You must have your own transport and be able to commute to Sheriff Hutton.

We require good spoken English language

GDC registration

A valid work permit to work in the UK

Indemnity certificate for work in the UK

Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months

Degree certificate

IRMER certificate

CPR/AED/ Medical emergencies certificate within the last 12 months

UK blood test with evidence of Hepatitis B immunisation and titre levels, additionally Hepatitis C, HIV and TB results all dated within the last 5 years
