Portman Dental Care in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, is seeking a Private Dentist to join our modern, well-established practice. Build your private list while providing high-quality dentistry near St Ives and beautiful beaches.

Join a supportive team with full digital workflow, intraoral scanner, digital X-rays, Invisalign, implants, and a private patient base. There is flexibility to suit your private and plan treatment needs with a small NHS contract.

Qualifications

• Private dentistry experience and ability to manage private patients.
• Familiarity with private treatment plans and a small NHS contract is a plus.
• Strong team collaboration and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Lead private and plan treatments for private patients.
• Work within an experienced team including nursing, reception and practice manager.
• Utilise a full digital workflow and equipment (intraoral scanner, digital X-rays).
• Meet diary demand and maintain high standards of patient care.

Work by the sea! Carbis Bay offers a relaxed lifestyle with great transport links — just 1 mile from St Ives and 35 minutes to Truro. There is excellent nearby rail connections and local parking for the practice.

• Surgery space Friday PM & Saturdays
• Full digital workflow and equipment including intraoral scanner, digital x-rays, and more
• Experienced team offering general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, sedation, Invisalign, implants
• Led by Dr. David Burgess -one of the South West’s top sedation dentists
• You will be doing mainly Private and Plan treatment, with a small NHS contract
