What’s happening?
Weber Shandwick is looking for a talented Associate to join the Corporate Enterprise practice in our London office. The practice is made up of a smart, dedicated and fun team with expertise spanning B2B, Corporate, Public Affairs, Crisis/Issues, Social Impact/ESG, and Technology.
Responsibilities
- Support marcomms account teams in day‑to‑day account management, pitching to the media and securing coverage.
- Research, reporting and analysis of campaigns, including press releases, media strategies, reactive statements, talking points, FAQs, memos and other deliverables.
- Assist in customer engagement strategies and collateral, such as social media content, brochures, case studies, to support lead‑generation objectives.
- Contribute ideas during campaign ideation sessions and explore innovative ways to make campaigns engaging and resonant.
- Manage many evolving projects, prioritise to meet varied deadlines, and maintain clear documentation through trackers, timelines and status documents.
- Monitor and triage client issues; prepare for and participate in client meetings.
- Support the development of consumer insights and help shape campaign strategies based on those insights.

- Act as a role model, producing high‑quality work and updating the manager on progress.
- Seek knowledge, contribute to an inclusive team culture, and consistently display behaviours that support integration.
Growth & Business Development

Support new‑business opportunities and pitch content, capturing notes, research, and tracker updates.

Business Acumen
- Maintain accurate tracking of time and billable hours to support healthy accounts.
- Escalate client cues impacting the business to the manager appropriately.
- Review SOWs and understand deliverables; control budgets and ensure utilization targets are met.
- A year or two of experience in a similar PR or communications role is required.
Ideal Experience / Attributes
- Interest in B2B, Corporate Communications, and Marketing.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for clients, the practice, and the wider team.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to distil complex information into compelling copy.
- Attentive to detail, committed to high‑quality work, and fluent in Microsoft and digital platforms.
- Collaborative mindset and willing to grow within the agency environment.
