As a BRM Senior Government Not-for-Profit in Business Banking, you''ll manage existing client relationships and develop new business strategies focused on client selection. You''ll provide an outstanding client experience, and maintain adherence to the regulatory, legal, and risk management frameworks unique to these client segments.
Responsibilities
- Build collaborative internal and external relationships to provide the best in client advice and service, and develop the business to ensure a seamless experience for the client who has multiple products and services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the client in delivering comprehensive and customized business banking products and solutions tailored to Government Not-for-Profit clients.
- Manage a portfolio of clients; grow the portfolio by prospecting for new clients and deepening relationships with existing clients.
- Manage credit opportunities within the assigned portfolio up to $40 million.
- Utilize extensive referral networks to identify and pursue potential new clients, cultivating long-term relationships.
- Build relationships by calling on existing clients to understand their organizations and analyze product and service growth opportunities to ensure profitability of the Government Not-for-Profit portfolio.
- Protect the firm by following sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Relevant experience in a business banking relationship management role or related business lending experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of the unique requirements, laws, regulations, and risk management for Government Not-for-Profit client base; familiarity with the formal Request For Proposal process and due diligence.
- Able to identify innovative solutions to best serve the client and/or manage risk.
- Demonstrated judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions that meet client needs; monitors trends to anticipate client needs and present proactive solutions.
- Strong current business network; active involvement in community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce or Non-Profit boards.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expert knowledge of business and credit underwriting with commercial credit training.
