Marrons is seeking an Associate/Associate Director in Transport Planning to lead a range of projects across residential, commercial, energy, leisure, and large SUE sites from our Birmingham hubs. You will mentor junior staff, help win work and shape the regional strategy within a growing consultancy.

Due to our rapidly expanding workload, we are now looking to appoint an Associate or Associate Director to join our small team. You will play an integral part in continuing to grow the team, and act as lead of future projects.
Marrons has grown rapidly over the past 5 years to become a top 15 UK planning consultancy, with a team of 50+ specialists across our regional hubs. We also provide complementary planning, socio-economic, heritage, masterplanning, landscape and architectural services.
Our whole team are vital in helping to achieve our ambitions, helping to lead projects, build client relations and champion the Marrons brand.
As a member of the Marrons team, you will continue to develop your career working collaboratively with colleagues within our multi-disciplinary consultancy. You will lead in the delivery of a range of projects across various sectors. This includes working on residential schemes, commercial, energy sector, leisure facilities and large SUE sites. There is also opportunity to become involved in planning appeal works if desired.
Whilst we are currently a small team, we are seeing an exponential growth in workload. Alongside managing projects you’ll be responsible for mentoring the junior staff within the team and contributing to business development.

We have the following hubs across the UK: Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Leicester, Lincoln, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Sheffield, Stratford upon Avon & Tunbridge Wells.
Ideally this role will be based from our Sheffield or Nottingham office hubs but we can offer flexibility to be based in our Bristol, Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham offices if preferred.
