Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced environmental professional to join our Scotland team. You will lead environmental coordination across EIA and related deliverables, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes on major projects.

We value Chartered status, a strong track record on infrastructure, and the ability to mentor colleagues. Flexible working is available, with options to work from Glasgow, Edinburgh, or client locations as needed.

Due to continued growth and projects we are looking for an individual with practical experience of environmental coordination, assessment and management/EIA to join our team in Scotland. While access to our Glasgow or Edinburgh office is preferable, applicants from outside of the central belt will be considered. We are able to arrange flexible working to suit the right individual. Key clients in this region include the energy, transport and defence sectors.

You will work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related deliverables, work closely with clients, develop new areas of business and mentor colleagues in the team.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an environmental or related discipline and have a comprehensive understanding of all the technical expertise required for an EIA. Your role

• Leading on the coordination and delivery of environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams including EIA, options appraisals and environmental management.
• Champion high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary engineering projects, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental outcomes.
• Collate and edit information from a range of sources to provide clear, well written reports.
• Competently undertake own work to an excellent standard, and review the work of others, on time and to budget.
• Able to manage clients' needs in a confident, professional manner.
• Lead and support on bid preparation and develop new areas of business for the team.
• Undertake Continual Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with requirements of chosen professional institute.

About you
