Location

Stone Tree Golf & Fitness – Located just outside of Owen Sound on the beautiful escarpment.

Job Summary

Stone Tree Golf & Fitness Club is seeking an Associate or an Assistant Professional for the 2026 season. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, customer‑service driven individual to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
  • Day‑to‑day pro‑shop operations: booking tee times, checking in golfers, and merchandise sales.
  • Participate in the execution of successful golf tournaments, leagues, and special events.
  • Deliver high‑quality lessons and clinics to members and public golfers while growing the game in our community.
  • Develop and lead our busy Junior Camp program throughout the summer months.
  • Supervise all outside golf operations staff to ensure high levels of customer service are maintained.
  • Open and close shifts in accordance with all operating procedures.
  • Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and overall pro‑shop sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing manager for golf‑related advertising and promotions.
  • Oversee tee‑sheet management to maximize course use while maintaining pace of play and an efficient flow of the golf course.
  • Enforce club policies and procedures to members and guests where necessary.
  • Manage all pro‑shop operations in the absence of the Head Professional.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Tee‑On experience is a benefit.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be available on weekends and holidays.
  • PGA of Canada member preferred.
  • Organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
  • Strong inter‑departmental communication and support.
Compensation
  • $800–$1,100 per week; full‑time seasonal position.
  • Opportunity exists for the right candidate to work winter hours with the golf simulator.
