Qualifications

  • Must be ARB accredited with a minimum of 10 years' experience at Architect level in a UK-based practice.
  • Strong design, technical, and conservation expertise with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK Building and Planning Regulations.
  • AABC or RIBA SCA/CA accreditation is highly desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
  • Engage in business development and work-winning activities.
  • Conduct project management and contract administration.

Eden Brown is delighted to be working with a leading UK-based architectural practice, seeking an accomplished Associate Architect to join their team. This is a rare opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to take on a pivotal role in delivering high quality projects, with a focus on conservation and heritage work across sectors.

The Role

As an experienced Associate Architect, or recently promoted Associate Architect, you will bring a wealth of expertise to a dynamic and growing studio. You will lead projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring excellence in design, technical delivery, and client relations. Your leadership will be crucial in managing teams, fostering business growth, and ensuring the financial success of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the team.
  • Engage in business development and work-winning activities, including bidding.
  • Conduct project management and contract administration effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building and Planning Regulations.
  • Maintain strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
Key Requirements
  • Must be ARB accredited with a minimum of 10 years' experience at Architect level in a UK-based practice.
  • Strong design, technical, and conservation expertise with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK Building and Planning Regulations.
  • Proficiency in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS software. There are live projects working in both Revit and AutoCAD and this new team member should be able to be hands on with both softwares when needed.
  • AABC or RIBA SCA/CA accreditation is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
