Associate Architect Job in Location

A new Associate Architect job is now available, offering the opportunity to lead a landmark cultural and conservation project in central London. This is a senior leadership role within a practice known for its expertise in heritage and conservation.

You’ll oversee the design and delivery of one of the UK's most prestigious architectural projects while contributing to business development, client relationships, and the mentoring of emerging talent.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver significant conservation and cultural projects across all RIBA stages
  • Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Oversee internal teams and coordinate consultant inputs
  • Support bids, proposals, and strategic presentations
  • Ensure projects meet design quality, programme, and budget targets
  • Represent the practice with clients, stakeholders, and consultants.
Required Skills & Experience
  • ARB-registered Architect with 10+ years post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience leading large-scale or heritage projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent technical and design knowledge across conservation and adaptive re-use
  • AABC or RIBA SCA/CA accreditation desirable
  • Familiarity with NEC4 contracts and project financial management
  • Strong commercial awareness and client communication skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS.
