Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an AI Security Specialist to embed security controls, support engineering teams and ensure AI solutions are designed and operated in line with security standards, risk management, and regulatory requirements across the bank.

You will help defend one of the UK's most trusted institutions as it adopts next-generation AI capabilities, shaping the security posture and deploying controls that keep customers, colleagues and services safe while enabling bold

Qualifications

  • Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in cyber security or technology risk, with exposure to AI, data, or cloud-based environments desirable.
  • Strong understanding of core cyber security principles, including IAM, secure application design, and data protection.
  • Awareness of public cloud security concepts and tooling; hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Interest in AI technologies and generative AI use cases.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, UK GDPR and their application to AI systems.
  • Experience supporting technical implementation, validation, and testing of security controls.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate security requirements to technical and non-technical partners.

This role focuses on enabling the safe and effective use of AI by embedding security controls, supporting engineering teams, and ensuring that AI solutions are built and operated in line with security standards. The role aligns to three key areas: supporting safe adoption, understanding attacker use/exploitation of AI, and applying AI to enhance security capability., This team is responsible for defending one of the UK's most trusted institutions as it adopts next generation AI capabilities. You'll play a part in the Group's AI security posture, designing and deploying the controls that keep our customers, colleagues, and services safe - while enabling bold transformation across the bank.
