Job summary

Rappor in Manchester is seeking an Associate Acoustic Consultant to join our growing, multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on leading acoustic projects, mentoring juniors, and driving business development across the Northwest region.

You will work directly with our national discipline leader, contribute to technical outputs such as noise assessments, and engage with clients and stakeholders to grow our acoustic consultancy services.

Responsibilities

• Project manage small to large acoustic projects, from inception through to implementation.
• Financially manage projects from drafting fee proposals through to invoicing.
• Generate regular project enquiries resulting in monthly appointments.
• Assist with the day-to-day mentoring or management of junior staff members and provide support with technical queries from colleagues.
• Preparation of technical outputs, such as noise assessments.
• Liaise with stakeholders, external project team members and clients.
• Represent the company at meetings, inquiries, public consultations and exhibitions.
• Undertake site visits.
• Actively carry out business development for the company.
• Identify opportunities for growth within new sectors and project locations
• Identify candidates for recruitment and interview
