Assistant Warehouse Manager

Location: Near Bournemouth Airport
Salary: £32,400 per annum
Hours: Thursday to Monday – Flexible start and finish times

Are you an experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join a busy, well-established logistics operation based near Bournemouth Airport.

The Role

As Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day running of a fast-paced operation. You’ll help lead a skilled team, ensure smooth workflow across all warehouse functions, and maintain excellent standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including goods in/out, stock control, and order fulfilment

• Support team leaders and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation

• Monitor productivity and implement process improvements where required

• Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and company policies are adhered to

• Help coordinate shift planning, resource allocation, and workload management

• Liaise with internal teams to maintain strong communication and service levels

About You

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior operative role

• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and Health & Safety practices

• Confident communicator with good organisational and leadership skills

• Proactive, reliable, and able to work well under pressure

• Flexible and committed, with availability Thursday to Monday
