Access Garage Doors Ltd in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support efficient warehouse operations and delivery rounds across the South East and Midlands.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will help load/unload vehicles, manage stock, assist on the trade counter, and ensure accurate Sage system usage. The role requires a clean licence, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in warehouse operations and forklift use.
• Clean driving licence with up to 3 points.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Physically fit with ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Experience driving in South East region.

Aufgaben

• Check vehicles are loaded with correct doors and spare parts.
• Cover driving to regular customers in the South East and Midlands.
• Unload doors and spares from vehicles, including self-unloading when customers are not present.
• Lead the team in loading vehicles for next day deliveries.
• Assist in stores with picking, packing, and using courier systems.
• Trade counter work, helping customers with new enquiries and despatching doors.
• Manage new deliveries, check off and book in.
• Warehouse movements, stock control, door rotation and prep for larger deliveries.
• Key holder in the absence of Warehouse Manager.
• General warehouse duties, maintenance and cleaning of vans.
• Accurate use of Sage systems.
• Support Capital Building Plastics with trade counter and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean driving licence; max 3 points.
• Work around the South East.
• Be trustworthy and forward thinking.

Assistant Warehouse Manager

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for helping maintain efficient warehouse operations and help deliver garage doors around South East and Midlands areas. There will also be warehouse duties as listed below. This is a customer facing role.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for checking vehicles are correctly loaded with correct doors/spare parts.
• Help cover driving to regular customers in the South East and Midlands areas.
• Unloading garage doors/spares from vehicles (customer not always present –sothis will involve self-unloading garage doors)
• Lead the team with loading vehicles for next day’s deliveries
• Working in the stores during busy periods, which includes picking and packing correct items and using courier systems
• Trade counter work, helping customers with new enquiries, helping with product information and despatching doors.
• Dealing with new deliveries, checking off and booking in.
• Involved with warehouse movements, stock control, door rotation and prepping for larger deliveries.
• Key holder – looking after warehouse operations in absence of Warehouse Manager.
• General warehouse duties, maintenance and cleaning of vans.
• Accurate use of Sage systems.
• Helping Capital Building Plastics, cover the trade counter and delivering of good to customers.
• Clean Driving Licence, a maximum of 3 points is acceptable
• Experience in warehouse operations/forklift use.
• Experience of driving around the South East

Hours:7:30am – 5.00pm Monday - Friday
