Job summary

PJT Partners is seeking a Network Engineer in Greater London to support, configure, and maintain enterprise network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud services.

You will monitor networks, troubleshoot issues, and design secure, scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong IB experience and Palo Alto expertise are desired.

Qualifications

• Notable experience as a Network Engineer within an Investment Bank.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network security principles.
• Experience with Cisco Switching and Meraki Wireless.
• Experience with SASE security platforms, with a strong preference for Zscaler.
• Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust, Palo Alto Prisma Access or Netskope is also valuable.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify, isolate, and resolve network issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
