About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious international banking group with a strong presence across EMEA.

As an AVP you can choose to join either the Loans Agency or the Loans Admin team, but will be cross trained over time on both. you will play a pivotal role in managing high-complexity loan transactions utilising LoanIQ whilst contributing to strategic initiatives and process improvements. Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

  • Manage all aspects of loan administration for the most complex loan portfolios within LoanIQ, including coordination, actioning, and authorising transactions
  • Support front office colleagues across EMEA and liaise with external lenders and borrowers
  • Process daily loan requirements including HR affiliated lending

Strategic & Operational Excellence

  • Support operational elements of strategic firm-wide and regulatory change initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute SME knowledge to new product and process assessments
  • Collaborate on daily deliberations regarding new deal signings and structures

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide expert support to front office teams, external lenders and borrowers on queries and issue resolution
  • Work closely with execution control teams on strategic decision-making
  • Support Team Leaders and Section Heads in service delivery and strategic planning

Technical Delivery

  • Document review, booking into LoanIQ and payment settlement of Secondary Trading transactions
  • Coordinate agency fee billing and settlement across portfolios
  • Manage Credit Risk Insurance premium invoice processing
  • Conduct daily system validation clearances and monthly reporting

Governance & Control

  • Support internal and external audits with SME knowledge and walkthroughs
  • Ensure all transactions meet regulatory obligations and control procedures
  • Train and mentor team members on processes and procedures

About You

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Expertise : Comprehensive understanding of Loans Administration roles, responsibilities and current market practices
  • Technical Knowledge : Solid proficiency with LoanIQ system or similar.
  • Documentation : Strong ability to interpret loan documentation from an operational view point.
  • Treasury Understanding : Advanced knowledge of loan funding mechanisms and treasury coordination
  • Quality Focus : Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to zero-error processing whilst meeting deadlines
  • Communication : Confident oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
