A major healthcare trust in the UK is seeking a Band 3 assistant technical officer for the Cardio Respiratory department. Responsibilities include conducting clinical physiology investigations, assisting clinical physiologists, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patient care. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 assistant technical officers within the Cardio Respiratory department to deliver Cardiorespiratory services to the Trust and, as necessary, services to other LUFT Trust sites or other appropriate healthcare sites.
To be an effective member of the Cardiorespiratory Department by providing a high standard of Cardiac and Respiratory Physiological service and patient care. It is understood that the post holder may possibly be required to participate in a flexible working hours system.
The member of staff will undertake a range of clinical physiology investigations either in performing direct duties such as recording ECGs, fitting and removal of ambulatory monitoring devices and spirometry, from patients, or in assisting Clinical Physiologists in other areas of the department.
