Responsibilities
  • Support the decontamination and high-level disinfection of flexible endoscopes and other medical devices.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC, NICE, and medical device regulations, ensuring patient safety at all times.
  • Operate within an accredited Management Quality System for sterilisation and decontamination processes.
  • Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of reusable equipment for re-issue using a barcoded tracking system.
  • Contribute to the delivery of services for Operating Theatres, Wards, Outpatient Clinics, Radiology, Emergency Departments, and community healthcare providers.
