The role involves delivering essential investigations and supporting senior physiologists. Candidates should be educated to B'TEC/NVQ level or equivalent and ideally hold an ARTP Spirometry Certification or be willing to work towards it. The Cardio-Respiratory Department at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Technical Officer to join our busy, expanding multi-disciplinary team for permanent contract.
At the present time Wirral University Teaching Hospital has 8 Cardiologists and 7 Respiratory Physicians and is developing services in a variety of areas of the department.
The department currently offers an extensive range of investigations which assistants deliver and support and these include, ECGs, Tapes, BP monitoring, Event monitoring, TOE assistants, ambulatory download, assisting senior physiologist with Echo and ward cover with ECGs.
