The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly developing Occupational Therapy Service in Tameside. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist, ideally with experience in manual handling, aids and adaptations and learning disability.

Occupational Therapists play an integral part in our Integrated Social and Health Care Systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for service users.

About You
  • Confident, experienced occupational therapist with enthusiasm for learning and development.
  • Experience in clinical supervision, sensory rehabilitation, and coordinating small caseloads.
  • Assessment of manual handling needs across community settings and equipment/adaptation provision.
  • Support service development, audits, policies, and processes.

Car driver with own vehicle is essential. This post carries an authorised casual car user allowance.

Qualifications & Criteria
  1. Relevant professional qualification for the role at Level 6 or above.
  2. Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience in the role.
  3. Maintained membership of a regulated body where required.
