Qualifications

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Qualified Social Worker.

Responsibilities of this role:
  • Support the Team Manager in leading the fostering team.
  • Supervise and guide social workers to ensure high‑quality practice.
  • Promote safeguarding and compliance with fostering regulations.
  • Oversee foster carer assessments, reviews, and support.
  • Contribute to service development and policy implementation.
  • Ensure effective case management and placement stability.
  • Liaise with multi‑agency partners and manage safeguarding concerns.
  • Provide reflective supervision and performance oversight.
  • Encourage continuous learning and evidence‑informed practice.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager when required.
Requirements of this role:
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
