Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Assistant Team Manager to join their Fostering Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Support the Team Manager in leading the fostering team.
- Supervise and guide social workers to ensure high‑quality practice.
- Promote safeguarding and compliance with fostering regulations.
- Oversee foster carer assessments, reviews, and support.
- Contribute to service development and policy implementation.
- Ensure effective case management and placement stability.
- Liaise with multi‑agency partners and manage safeguarding concerns.
- Provide reflective supervision and performance oversight.
- Encourage continuous learning and evidence‑informed practice.
- Deputise for the Team Manager when required.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
