Job summary

Stocklake Park Community School in Aylesbury is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs. You will work with the class teacher on lesson planning, resources, and personal care plans.

You will promote a positive learning environment, be confident with ICT, and be flexible, proactive and collaborative. The role offers term-time working, access to staff benefits and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the class teacher to support lesson planning, resource preparation, and create a positive learning environment.
• Assist in developing and implementing individual education and personal care plans, including hygiene needs and administering medication when required.
• Lead whole classes during the teacher’s non-contact time and in cases of short-term absence.

Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

Annual Weeks:39 Weeks (Term time including INSET Days)
