Salary: £30,000–£35,000 (dependent on experience)

In this role, you’ll help manage tax returns and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. With tasks spanning VAT, corporate tax and PAYE Settlement Agreement returns, you’ll become an essential contributor in month-end tax reporting and statutory accounts. Supported by the team, you’ll be encouraged to develop new skills and bring forward ideas that can streamline our processes and enhance our impact.

Ideally, you are currently pursuing or already hold a tax or accountancy qualification. You’re naturally detail‑oriented, organised and motivated to learn, with a genuine interest in finance and continuous improvement.
You’ll report to theTax Manager and work closely with the Tax Accountant as part of a small, close‑knit team within the wider Financial Control & Accounting function.
As Assistant Tax Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting tax compliance and reporting activities across several UK entities. Your work will help ensure accuracy, transparency and compliance in all areas of tax accounting.
