Job summary

LeisureSK Limited is seeking an Assistant Swimming Teacher to support the Swim School and School Swimming programmes at our leisure centres. You will assist the teaching team to plan and deliver engaging lessons, including helping pupils in water at lower stages, while upholding brand standards.

The role is developmental; you'll work towards Swim England Level 1 and Level 2 Teaching Qualifications and NRASTC rescue qualification, with progression toward covering classes as you develop.

Qualifications

• Willingness to progress towards Swim England Level 1 and Level 2 Teaching Qualifications.
• Potential to gain NRASTC rescue qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent quality teaching service.
• Maintain Swim School standards and procedures.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate a structured programme using Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.
• Update attendance and assessment data (Learn2).
• Ensure activities are FUN and promote a positive image of Swim School and the company.
• Support other swimming related activities and staff training.
