Job summary

Insignis Talent in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to join our growing Building Structures team. You will work on new-build, refurbishment, survey and assessment projects and collaborate with technicians and multidisciplinary teams.

This role offers strong technical development and support toward ICE or IStructE chartership, with exposure to Eurocodes and British Standards. You will gain hands-on experience across commercial, residential, education, and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience with steel and concrete design.
• Knowledge of foundations.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
