The Opportunity

The Role

Supporting the Group’s strategic and corporate development agenda is pivotal to achieving its ambitious objectives; however, this role extends far beyond that remit. It encompasses active involvement across a diverse range of energy development projects, engaging at multiple stages of their lifecycle. The key components will include:

Corporate Development & Strategy
  • Corporate development - mergers, acquisitions, disposals, due diligence investment appraisals and fund raising
  • Strategy - Research, market & competitor analysis, Exec Board presentations & reviews
Project Development
  • Planning, development & construction
  • Procurement & contracts
  • Key interface into commercial function
Progression & Development

The successful individual will not only play a pivotal role in the current phase of development but will also be positioned to assume greater leadership responsibilities as the organisation continues to expand.

What You'll Bring

We are keen to engage with qualified CA/CFA's that have strong M&A experience within the energy sector. Renewables M&A is highly desirable, however energy is sufficient.

It's also not expected that the individual will have project development experience at this stage, however given the internal expertise and ability to lean on external advisers, this is a gap the business is confident that can be bridged.
